Huckabee has good qualities, according to Ann, but that can't save him from being labelled the Republican Jimmy Carter. However, it's the good qualities of Huckabee that Coulter says drives the mainstream media mad; questioning Darwinian evolution has sent the New York Times into a frenzy but many Americans are in agreement with Huckabee.

However, Coulter doesn't like his "religiosity" despite making a claim in one of her books that all Muslims should convert to Christianity and how Liberals are waging war on Christianity. Coulter also took issue with Huckabee over illegal immigration for denouncing as almost "racist", a bill that would have made Arkansas residents prove that they were legal citizens to vote and get social services.

This could actually help Huckabee though, many people are starting to believe the opposite of what Coulter says. It could well be that any publicity is good publicity for Huckabee at the moment.
